Description
Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate, also known as Monopotassium Phosphate (MKP), is a water-soluble, crystalline powder widely used as a fertilizer, food additive, and buffering agent. With the chemical formula KH₂PO₄, it provides a rich source of phosphorus (P) and potassium (K)—two essential macronutrients for plant growth. It is colorless to white, odorless, and dissolves easily in water, making it ideal for foliar spraying, hydroponics, and as a nutrient solution in agriculture. In food processing, it acts as an emulsifier, stabilizer, and leavening agent.
