Description
Tert-Butanol, also known as tert-Butyl alcohol or TBA, is a colorless, flammable solid or liquid (depending on temperature) with a camphor-like odor. It is a tertiary alcohol widely used as a solvent, chemical intermediate, and fuel additive. Tert-Butanol is miscible with ethanol, diethyl ether, and other organic solvents, making it valuable in laboratory research, pharmaceuticals, coatings, and industrial chemical synthesis.
