Aniline is an aromatic amine and a key industrial intermediate used in the production of dyes, rubbers, resins, and polymers. It can be synthesized by hydrogenation or photocatalytic reduction of nitrobenzene using various metal catalysts. Aniline is involved in electropolymerization (via ADPA) and exhibits a viscosity of 3.1457 cP at 30 °C. Deuterated forms and vibrational properties have also been studied.
